Having Hannah as our birth & postpartum doula is one of the best decisions I've ever made. Hannah is BEYOND amazing and so passionate about what she does. I would have ten more babies just to experience having her there again. (That says something because we are definitely done for a while) She always knew exactly what to say or do. She takes such good care of her mamas & dads too! I'm so blessed she was here to welcome our sweet baby girl Thank you for everything!
If you've ever considered hiring a doula I 100% recommend it. I 1000000% recommend hiring Hannah.

Hiring Hannah as my doula was one of the best decisions of my life! With my first pregnancy, I was uneducated and a product of the health care system by receiving pain interventions, and laboring from a hospital bed. Because of my unpleasant experience, it was my immediate prayer for a natural delivery and healthy recovery with my second pregnancy.
I toyed around with the idea of hiring a doula after taking an online natural birthing class. The financial investment took some convincing on my husband’s part, but he eventually gave in – partly due to my constant badgering, research and overall persuasiveness. :) He feared that Hannah would take his place, but I knew that she would help assign tasks to make him feel more included, which is exactly what she did! My prayer was that we would have another opportunity to experience all that God had in store for us with the natural design of labor and delivery. Hannah was a direct answer to that prayer! She has a calming presence about her, which made me feel more relaxed and confident in having her join us. The class provided me with a lot of knowledge, but I needed an enforcer of my birth plan.
It was disappointing to hear that I still had to be induced due to gestational hypertension at my 37th week. I assumed my plan was pointless and second guessed my decision to hire a doula. I remember calling Hannah to announce my scheduled induction and she responded with just as much assurance in our plan and met me at the hospital shortly afterwards to help me experience a natural induction! To my surprise, she knew more than the nurses and midwives by setting the stage – mind, body and spirit – for a natural delivery to take place! She never wavered and continued to advocate for my birth plan, even when the odds proved otherwise. In fact, my midwife became doubtful and began to promote the usage of Pitocin to help move my labor along. I almost became discouraged and started to rethink my plan but Hannah immediately stepped in and redirected my focus and attention. Consequently, I went from a 4 to a 10 in less than 30 minutes because she had me labor in the bathroom at “dilation station,” as well as in the shower. It was totally unexpected and a surprise to us all!
In fact, my husband ended up delivering our baby with his own hands, while the medical staff were out busy with other patients. Simply stated, Hannah has a calling on her life at such a young age. She is mature beyond her years and without question, has landed in the right place. Because of her wisdom and guidance, I was able to experience a natural induction, labor and delivery! It's a special story that my family will always share, because of God's hand in connecting us to the right person - Thank you HANNAH!

Hannah was the best Doula I could have asked for. She was so present and knew how to support me and my husband every step of the way through our first pregnancy. She is an incredible advocate inside and outside the delivery room when it comes to your birth plan and she always made me feel comfortable and safe. I can’t wait to expand our family and I can only hope she is available for my future pregnancies.

Before my wife became pregnant I didn't even know what a doula was. Now, After having gone through the birth of our first son, I can't even imagine having to go through it all without Hannah by our side. She was ALWAYS there when we needed her and to answer all of our questions. She knows your birth plan inside and out so when it's time to welcome your baby she knows exactly what to do. We ended up at a hospital (even though we wanted to have our baby at a birthing center), and Hannah took care of everything for us. She made sure we were comfortable, that the hospital was cooperating with our wishes, and if we didn't understand something the hospital was asking or telling us, Hannah was there to explain it. We always had full trust and confidence in Hannah to take care of us throughout this pregnancy. By the time our little baby was born, we felt like Hannah was part of our family and are truly blessed that God placed her in our lives. If you are looking for a doula, stop right here. You won't find anyone better than Hannah! Thank you for everything Hannah, words can't describe how grateful we are for you. Keep up the amazing work you do!

There is no way to capture in words what Hannah meant to me and my husband during my pregnancy and the labor and birth of our little boy, but I will try my best. From the moment we hired Hannah, it felt like we had a birth BFF. She was a wealth of information from day one. I never again had to worry about the confusing and contradicting information on google, because a quick text to Hannah resulted in thorough and personalized information and answers. She helped us make several hard decisions by directing us to reliable sources and sharing her vast experience. I had confidence that my birth plan and desires would be respected by the birth team because she'd be a fierce advocate. We already believed that hiring Hannah was the best decision we made during this pregnancy, and that was never more apparent than when I endured a four day labor full of many ups and downs and concerns over how well baby was handling this prolonged labor. When my plans for a birth center delivery were derailed and a hospital transfer was needed, I was very anxious feeling that my birth plan was slipping away and I'd be met with new situations and decisions I hadn't prepared for. Hannah was with us every step of the way. She provided guidance and comfort and stayed with us every moment in the hospital until our son was in our arms. she even took pictures for us and texted our family members to keep them in the loop so it wasn't one more thing we had to worry about. In my opinion and experience, there is no one more qualified or valuable to have on your birth team than Hannah. She h comes with our highest recommendation and has our deepest gratitude.

Hannah is... God sent. She is absolutely beautiful. Her skill, knowledge, and kindness blew us away. I never had to ask her to do something for us. She just jumped in and knew. It was like she read my mind. Hannah is absolutely professional and a very radiant light in the tough labor times. She had everything set when my labor was not going according to plan. I doubted myself before and during labor, sometimes after. She was always checking on me and it never failed for her to just say the right thing to me, and reminded me that I can do this. Even down to the moment I said that I couldn't. She looked me in my eyes, reminded me I was made for this... I birthed a beautiful baby girl shortly after. Hannah is definitely one of a kind, I must say. She is worth it. I kind of wish I could have another baby just to be in her presence! "All I can say is Hannah is a rare diamond at Mothering Memories Doula Services. I originally was looking for a doula to help provide back pain relief for my third birth just in case my husband wouldn’t be able to be present during birth. I hired Hannah right away just because I loved her confidence, passion, and engaging personality as a doula. Not only does she love her job, but she is very knowledgeable and provides realistic expectations so you don’t go into labor like a deer in headlights. I was particularly impressed by Hannah’s ability to continually keep me comfortable throughout all my labor contractions and phases. It was as if she put herself in my shoes and knew exactly what I was feeling during each contraction. Never have I ever labored without assistance with someone pressing my hips in to alleviate the back pain until I met Hannah. I loved that she empowered me with her encouraging words even when I was in terrible pain and provided easy breathing techniques I could mimic to alleviate tension. My husband and I cannot express how thankful we are that Hannah was our doula. As first time parents we had no idea what to expect in regard to labor & delivery. We chose to have a home birth and Hannah was all about it and so supportive. She showed up immediately after my husband reached out to her to come and communicated with us both while I was in labor. She was so good about having my change positions, eating, drinking and breathing through each contraction. She was worth her weight in gold. We could not have had a successful home birth had we not had Hannah by our side the entire time! We cannot wait to have her there for our future babies as well!

While preparing for birth we were encouraged to find a doula. We went back and forth on the decision for a while; but are so incredibly thankful that we decided to go forward with a doula and would encourage others to as well.
We searched far and wide when we found Hannah. Interviewing her was a fun and easy experience. We chose Hannah because she really showed such knowledge, confidence, and passion in her work. She is bright, kind, and very good at what she does. I was so impressed with how many births she had attended and her story of her early years of practice (be sure to ask her!).
On our birthing day Hannah was prompt to answer texts and phone calls. She came to our home in the very early morning hours to labor with us at home. I tell you what, having someone at home with you to help you through that early labor AND to help you (and the midwives) decide when to go to the birthing center - priceless! Having Hannah with us felt comfortable and so natural. She helped me and my husband remain calm and be able to focus.
During labor she provided hip squeezes, reminded me to relax through contractions when she could see me tensing, made sure I stayed hydrated, brought essential oils, communicated with the midwives, and so much more.
During the pushing phase Hannah was such a God-send. She brought a tug-of-war tool. I do not know what I would have done without her doing tug-of-war with me during pushing. It helped tremendously as pushing was so difficult for me. Using that tool with me, she helped me to push my baby girl.
Hannah stayed throughout the entire labor, pushing, and recovery period. It was about 15 hours (maybe more) that she stayed with us. Her energy and her smile never faltered.
I thank God for Hannah and we will definitely be calling her as soon as we find out we are having another little one!

For such a young doula, Hannah Troyer is so mature, organized, and professional! She is also a very sweet young lady of great character. It's difficult to know where to begin, but Hannah was an amazing support to me and my family, during my pregnancy, and labor, and postpartum recovery. She was punctual and considerate of our time, every time we met, and she was readily available, when I went into labor. Hannah was peaceful, resourceful, empathetic, and yet also a very steady, calming presence. Hannah has a wonderful balance of offering good advice and helping find answers to questions, yet, if she disagrees, she is never disrespectful nor condescending to personal choices a mother has already made. She is a very supportive doula, in every sense of the word, and she is willing to do whatever is needed. She really just wants to help do what's best for the mother and for the baby and for the whole family. I can honestly say Hannah has been *the* best support person I have ever had during one of my labors, and I have six children now. I highly recommend you consider Hannah as your doula to support you in your pregnancy/labor/birth...and beyond! If, by some miracle, we have another baby, I would use Hannah as a doula again in a heart beat! We are so indebted to Hannah for how she helped us, as we brought our last baby girl in to the world...

Hannah is the sweetest person and was everything I wanted and needed in a doula! She followed my lead in what I was needing, but stepped up to provide suggestions for when I or my husband didn't know what to do next. She helped keep my breaths under control during transition and just provided a wonderful sense of support the entire way. Even after the baby was born, she was there to be of help in any way. Couldn't have asked for a more perfect support person! Oh, and the handmade crocheted lovey she gave our baby was just the sweetest touch and will always remind us of her love. I'll always recommend Hannah to my expecting friends!

I knew I wanted to have a doula accompany me throughout my pregnancy and labor but didn't really find the right one until I was 24 weeks pregnant. I searched again at that time and as soon as I saw Hannah's profile I just knew we'll match well. My family wasn't on board but I insisted and hired her because after all I was the pregnant one and I knew what I needed.
I can only say that she was simply AMAZING! We got to know each other through prenatal meetings and she was always there for me. Day and night. Through some very emotional moments in my family (my mother in law's battle with cancer) and my own struggles with pregnancy. I could say she became a close friend through this experience.
Then finally the D day came. Right on his due date my little mister decided to make his grand entrance. Since my labor went really fast we met at the hospital and I must say with her presence, attentiveness and kindness I was able to handle labor and really concentrate knowing she's there to take care of everything else. I didn't need to think or worry and I was able to fully focus on me. And let me tell you- massage is much better pain relief than anything else. I was able to sail through my contractions with only gas and Hannah's wonderful massaging and gentle words of encouragement. Sadly my boy was in facial presentation and his HR started to drop with my too intense contractions so I ended up with an emergency C section, but still I have fond memories of my labor and it's mostly due to Hannah. Even my husband, who was very against me hiring a doula ended up seeing what a blessing she was and how she truly was of great help not just to me but also to him and to other family members who were present.
I can't express enough how crucial to my labor experience she was. And let me not forget about postpartum. We had her for few hours and in those few hours she taught us more than we learned anywhere else.

Hannah is an incredible person, and is living out her calling as a doula. She takes so much time to listen to you and makes you feel valued and supported in all situations. She is well versed in all things pregnancy & birth and was able to help point me to resources easily. She knew exactly what I needed in labor and has been a wonderful support postpartum. "Hannah is such a treasure. I hired her at the very last minute (about 2 weeks before I delivered) because I was nervous about delivering naturally without the support of a doula. She got back to me right away and was so sweet and accommodating to us. She was what I needed to feel totally confident about delivering naturally. After our prenatal appointment I knew that if she was there, I would be just fine because Hannah has such a calming presence. When I went into labor, she kept us from going to the hospital several hours too early! She kept my husband and parents calm as I labored at home for hours. She thought of everything to keep me and my husband and parents calm and comfortable. She was the perfect complement to my husband as they supported me through my labor. She took amazing photos at the birth that I absolutely love and look at all the time. I think I told her about 10 times after my son was born that I couldn't have done it without her. "We hired Hannah halfway through my second pregnancy. We didn’t use a doula during my first pregnancy, and although it was great, I knew I wanted some extra support not only for me, but for my husband too. We had quite a unique experience because I changed from an OB/midwife practice to a different OB at 28 weeks, to a midwifery practice at a Birth center at 36 weeks. Talk about a roller coaster. Hannah provided evidence based information when I asked, and always remained unbiased when we were trying to determine where to deliver. She was easily accessible and responded promptly to my text or call. I so appreciated her knowledge and relationship. During the birth, she showed up and supported us, then went home when my labor stalled out and showed back up in the middle of the night when the real thing was happening. She provided physical comfort measures, emotional encouragement and I was so glad she was a part of my birth team. I had a beautiful unmedicated birth and felt so much support and peace. Hannah was my doula for the birth of my twins. I was originally going for an unmedicated VBAC and she was beyond helpful in getting me prepared for that. When I reached 38 weeks and things weren’t progressing, the decision for a repeat csection was made. Although it wasn’t what I desired, Hannah made sure check on me to make sure I was dealing well emotionally and continually offered support and suggestions. She also attended the csection to support my husband and I. The overall experience this time was tons better and I have no doubt in my mind that Hannah played a HUGE part in that.
